First Day of School!

As always I was super excited for the first day of school. This time, I was pretty nervous for the test that we had to take, because I hadn't taken any Spanish language classes since last spring semester. Even though I skipped a quite few questions (the professor told us that we didn't have to respond to any question that we didn't know how to), she was impressed over all with how the class did. There are about 15 of us in the Advanced I class, and they told us that that's actually a pretty large number. The teacher is very friendly, and she likes to joke around with us. For example, right before she handed out the test, she said, "If we don't do well, then we'll have to fly home that day. Oh, wait, that's a lie." It helped to ease everyone's nerves before we jumped into the exam. The course is only three weeks long, and it will be intense, but I think that when I buckle down and get things done, I can do well.
