Back to Heredia

To get back home, we again split up into two groups. Since the two options for us to come back were either 5:30 am or 1pm, the group was split on when to come back. I chose the early time, because I thought I'd be awake anyway, and I have some things to get ready before class tomorrow (our last week already?!). two other girls wanted to go on the early bus as well, and the other four would take the bus in the afternoon. After waking to an alarm at 5, we got ready, finished packing up, and walk-ran towards the bus.

This trip went by way faster than the last one! we got back to Heredia around 11:30, and that's including a 15-minute stop on the bus, getting to the bus station, and then waiting for a taxi to take us from San José to the mall in Heredia. The girls and I went to the food court for lunch, and we headed home. Mamá Tica must have been with Tía today, because Mati was laying at the top of the stairs when I got there. I unpacked and could not for the life of me focus on any kind of homework. So I started packing. I'm not sure at this point if that was a good or bad idea, but for now I'll call it a 'preliminary packing,' because I'm sure I'll want to reorganize things as I realize that I need to fit more items in the suitcase.

Mati was with me while I was doing this, and I'm convinced that now he knows what's happening. At dinner, he was pawing at my leg almost the whole time I was eating, wanting to be pet or picked up. This is going to be hard.
