Finally Done With Module 2

Today we had a very small class because the second group went to Nicaragua at 9:30. So after we had presented our final projects, the 10 of us left played games that would keep us practicing Spanish (the irony is not intentional). The first game that we played was kind of like musical chairs. Except that we stood in a circle, there were no chairs, and we passed a little rubber duck while the music played. Whoever had the duck when the music stopped had to come up with a sentence with the grammatical aspect that our teachers prompted us with. We played long enough so that each of us said two sentences. I like that game, and I would use it in a classroom myself, if I have students in 2nd or 3rd grade.

The second game was called "enano, gigante" or "dwarf, giant". What we had to do was follow the leading professor while she stood straight (gigante), or squatted down (enano) and alternated between the two. If at any point we didn't correctly follow what she said, we had to do a task. So when I misheard what she said, I had to say three sentences in Spanish that described my love for a classmate. I was embarassed and flustered, but I did it.

I'm happy to have a free weekend coming up so that we can relax and get ready for the next module, which for me will be Civilization and Culture.
