Poolside Reading... Frantically

In the coursework for this class we have a 5-page paper due next Friday before we go to the next museum. This paper is based on a textbook that we have to read. Did I mention that it's due in a week? I have to get cracking on this reading. Hannah and I hopped a bus to Heredia Central so that we could get outside and swim in the pool before getting started on our reading.

March is one of the hottest months in Costa Rica, and we can definitely tell. By the time we got to the pool, we were ready to hop in the water. We swam for about 25 minutes, then decided to get to reading. Reading history text in English is hard for me. I'm not a fast reader, and with dense topics, I have to read the text several times to get what is actually going on. So I struggle through several pages and then realize that I can try and tackle the chapter summaries instead. Neither option is really working for me, but I'm going to try and see what I can tackle so that I can crank out this paper.

We were at the pool for about 3 hours when we decided to head home. We were tired from the heat and the sun, and we weren't getting as much done as we thought that we would. I'm going to try again as much as I can this week to write a decent paper.
